This Medical Community website was founded in 2006 by Justin Jose, a student of Wockhardt Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, India. The goal of this network is to provide the medical community, a social networking home targeted specifically for Medical Students, Doctors and others in the medical field.

• What is the purpose of this site?

The vision of the founder was to provide an online space where Medical Students, Doctors, Nurses and Professionals could gather to share and collaborate their information and ideas about medicine, especialy Cardiology. Later on a few new sections were added, targeting patients/public who need specific information on cardiac diseases and conditions or those who wanted a virtual second opinion on their condition and treatment.

• Why did the founder want to start such a site?

Being a student of medicine, he  understands how limited are the options available to personals in the diverse medical field and belonging to different parts of the world to communicate through a common platform. Here comes the importance of cardiac forum as s powerful online community for students,  doctors and others in the medical field.
